A business has seven seconds to make an impression – let’s make the most of that time.
Allie has used this mantra throughout her career. Graduating from Stephens College with a degree in Fashion Communication, a degree which focused on journalism, graphic design, public relations and photography, Allie uses the multiple facets of communication to hone a brand’s narrative.
While in college, Allie was the Editor in Chief for her campus’ publication, Stephens Life, during which time her first edition as Editor won the Pacemaker Award from the Associated Collegiate Press and five other awards from the College Media Association. After graduation, she continued to work as a freelance writer for content marketing firm Influence and Co., and created work for marquee publications like Entrepreneur and Inc. From there, she took a position as a graphic designer at the corporate office for Carolina One Real Estate. In her time there, she became a quasi-sponge, soaking up everything she needed to know to work in marketing at a corporate level. Once she moved to Beaufort, South Carolina, she became the Editor for EatStayPlay Beaufort, an online social media platform and website highlighting all things local and lifestyle-based in the Queen of the Sea Islands.
In her personal time, Allie freelances with local businesses and artists, shops local like the economy rests solely on her shoulders and lets her puppy, Gigi, get away with almost anything – even if that means only having two matching pairs of socks. She’s also a HUGE fan of the South Carolina Stingrays, University of Dayton Flyers and Washington Nationals.
